LOOK at the size of these turbines compared to the man on top. Time to get real when thinking of sustainable energy and its effects. I had a friend who built wind turbines offshore in the Netherlands and we would discuss how they deteriorate so quickly in the salt air and no one was taking responsibility for them. The wind turbines would just sit and rot when no longer functioning, SAD but true! Now what??? I am hopeful the materials in the wind turbines are worth the trouble to recycle or reuse.
